This course will be focused on painting landscapes in watercolor. Subject matter will vary among various landscapes such as distant hills, bodies of water, mountains and fields, trees, clouds, reflections, etc. Students will learn basic techniques, how to compose a painting, color theory, color mixing, experiments on wetness of the paper, mark making, etc.
Come join Ronna, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast, living in Portland, Oregon. Enjoy the company of other beginner and intermediate watercolor painters in this fun and informative online class. Each class will focus on a specific landscape based on a reference photo supplied by teacher.
*A recording of the class to will be sent to everyone registered, which is available to watch for one week after live class.
